Company History
PAINTCRAFT LLC was started in 1972 by Bill Shea to serve areas throughout CT and adjoining New York State. PAINTCRAFT LLC has gone on in the ensuing years to work with thousands of residential customers, many municipalities, and hospitals in Danbury, Norwalk, Stamford, and New Milford. PAINTCRAFT LLC has served corporations including Duracell, Gillette, Procter & Gamble and Mannkind and state institutions including UConn and Western CT State University.
About the Owner: Bill Shea
Bill Shea graduated from Sacred Heart University with a BS and went on to get a Masters degree with the University of Bridgeport and attended the New School in New York. He has taken courses in business, estimating, safety, lead certification, wallcovering, and best painting practices from various colleges and trade organizations. Bill was active in The Painting & Decorating Contractors of America for over 30 years serving as president for both the Western CT chapter and the state organization.
